We are Robin and Skip Are. Skip got back into collecting 1/6 scale action figures in 1993. My interests have evolved to custom adventure related and historical civilian figures, 1/6 scale dioramas of all types, and anything else 1/6 scale that catches my eye. Robin has been a skilled seamstress of 1/6 scale clothing and accessories since 1996, and together we own Project ARE Action Outfitters at http://www.project-are.com. We are members of the Official GI Joe Collectors' Club.

Hi, I'm Ron of McDonough, GA. I retired from the U.S. Army after 25 years. I received my first Joe in 1964 and have none of the originals left. I used to buy my son the 3 3/4" G.I. Joes because there were no 12" Joes being made. I bought my first new 12" "Duke" right after Desert Storm and began my serious collecting about a year ago. My emphasis is on realistic military Joes.
